Head of People & Culture

Position

We are looking for an experienced Manager People & Culture/Human Resources (m/w/x) to help our international team of 50 colleagues grow and develop. In this role you will serve as our value ambassador, people & culture manager and will be responsible for all operational and strategic aspects of the HR work. You will collaborate closely with our Director Operations and navigate our company through the next phase of maturity. Ideal candidates feel most comfortable in an international and fast moving environment with a large area of responsibility.

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead a small HR team
  • Fostering a productive, trust-based company culture in line with our corporate goals & values
  • Managing our performance development programs including 360° feedback process, trainings & coaching as well as organizing team building events
  • Leading our recruiting process from job description to contract negotiations
  • Supervising the search for Executives for our affiliates
  • HR business partnering for our management and leadership team
  • Ownership for all HR operations (employment contracts, payroll, company policies)

Required Background & Competencies

  • Academic degree, ideally in HR, economics, business administration or a comparable education
  • 6+ years of professional experience in HR in a highly demanding environment (start-up, consulting firm or similar)
  • Excellent rhetoric and writing skills in English and German
  • An empathetic team player with a good sense of humor
  • Strong work ethics and hands-on mentality
